Polytrade Global is proud to announce the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical works for a 10 MW solar PV plant in Loan, Ireland. The project will be implemented between June 16th and August 30th, 2025, under an ambitious schedule and high-quality standards set by the client.

Rapid Mobilization: Site Ready in Just 5 Days

Following the client's request, our team mobilized in record time – within only 5 days – with full deployment of equipment, logistics and personnel. A core team of 28 highly trained technicians, led by an experienced Project Manager and on-site Site Manager, ensured safe and compliant execution across all disciplines.

Scope of Execution

1. Mechanical Works

  • Pre-drilling and direct ramming of steel monopile foundations using heavy-duty equipment (ramming machines and rotary pre-drilling rigs)

  • Assembly of support structures for over 14,112 PV modules in 2P vertical configuration

  • Mechanical installation of 14,112 monocrystalline PV modules (655 Wp)

  • Barcode scanning for full traceability

  • Protective coating and structural inspection according to IEC standards

2. Electrical Works – DC & AC

  • DC/AC cable routing, bundling, and connection (over 60 km of cable)

  • Installation and commissioning of 18 multi-string inverters

  • MC4 terminal connections and inverter wiring

  • Electrical testing: insulation resistance (megger), continuity, and open-circuit voltage (Voc)

3. Earthing System

  • Copper earthing grid with 35 mm² bare Cu conductor

  • Structural interconnections and grounding of all active equipment

  • Earthing rings and rods at transformer stations

4. SCADA & Communications

  • UTP/FTP and RS485 cabling for tracker and sensor communication

  • Optical fiber backbone across control points

  • Low-voltage auxiliary cables for monitoring and control units

5. Safety, Environment & Site Management

  • Strict implementation of an Irish-compliant Health & Safety Plan

  • Daily toolbox talks, PPE enforcement, and periodic safety audits

  • Environmental protection measures, waste segregation and dust control

  • Daily progress tracking, QA/QC checklists and transparent reporting to client

  • Full traceability of installed materials and digital documentation
